Happy Hump Day! Today I bring to you another fall outfit that I wore on our second day in Sonoma. I have been really into pleated skirts lately for the fall so you’ll probably be seeing me wear a lot of them on the blog. This burgundy pleated skirt by H&M is probably one of my favorites so far. It was sold out online for awhile and I had to actually go buy it in stores. It just restocked back online with all sizes so make sure you get yours before they run out again.
My favorite color is pink! Can you tell? I never thought I was the type of person to put on a full pink power suit, but the thing about fashion is that you’re suppose to wear what you like right? The color is so bright and fun that people will notice you right away, but not take you too seriously. I wore this out to a wine tasting in Beverly Hills and got complemented so many times. Hopefully, one day I actually get to wear it to work!

This is another chic work outfit that I want to share with you today. Again, my office is in the design field so we are a little more relax on what we can wear to work (i.e. sleeveless and open toe shoes). The days are getting really nice so I wanted to wear something that is reflected of that. I mean, if this outfit doesn’t scream spring, I don’t know what does. Also, if it already isn’t obvious, I love bright bold colors and it most certainly shows in this outfit.

One of my favorite ways to style outfits is to mix and match affordable pieces of clothing with luxury accessories. It’s a great way to look expensive without actually spending the money on designer clothes. I’m definitely not making that type of money yet to be spending thousands of dollars on just fabric, but maybe one day. We can always dream right?
When I first started out at my job, I used to have to get dressed up and present at client or city meetings all the time. Nowadays, I’m in a different position so I don’t have to dress up as much, but I look forward to the times I do. I’ve never really worked in a place that had a strict dress code and it makes me wonder if I can ever do a power-suit kind of job. I mean, if I had the wardrobe like the actresses on Suits (especially Jessica Pearson), I would definitely do it.
