Comfy sweaters are obviously a main staple in my closet this time of year, but I will say that it gets kind boring and repetitive. This is why this year it’s all about embellished knit sweaters. It makes the sweater so much more festive and fancy. Also, who doesn’t want a little bit more sparkle in their life?
Winter whites is one of my favorite styles to wear during January. It feels clean and refreshing after a month full of red and green colors. This shiny pleated maxi skirt by A.L.C. is making its way to the top of my list for favorite skirt ever. I’ve already worn it three times! It has a beautiful shimmery champagne color to it and has a modest knee-length slit. My only little problem is that it’s supposed to be a midi skirt, but since I’m 5’2”, it reaches right at the ankles for me.
Is it just me or Christmas is never a one-day type of deal? I feel like it is always a couple weeks long. There are so many get-togethers and holiday parties that it can last well past the new year. Therefore, today’s blog post is dedicated to a fun holiday look that I wore to a recent girlfriend’s Friendsgiving party. I love how the green velvet midi skirt gives the whole outfit a festive feel without being too much over the top.
Since LA is cooling off for the next couple of weeks, I thought I would break out my over-the-knee boots again. I thought it would also be a good chance to pair it with items that you’ve already seen on my blog as well. Getting many uses out of a piece is absolutely essential for me. If I don’t wear it at least four or five times, I feel like I have failed my wallet in some sort of way. Anyone else feel the same?

Hello Readers! I cannot tell you how happy I am that it’s the weekend. It was probably the first time in months that I actually got to sleep in. I also mostly needed it because I’m still sick so I’m trying to recover as fast as possible. It seems like my whole office is getting sick as well so make sure everyone out there take care of yourselves!
