Valentine’s Day is getting closer and closer and you’re probably wondering what to wear, right? Instead of the little black dress, why not opt for little black shorts? I found these cute flutter shorts that actually look like a mini skirt. Pair it with a fun sparkly tweed blazer and some over-the-boots, and you have yourself a classy, but sexy outfit.

In the spirit of Chinese New Year and the upcoming Valentine’s Day, I am highlighting this structured red wool coat. Most of my coats tend to lean towards the neutral spectrum, but secretly, I’m a big fan of bold-colored coats. Since I tend to wear a lot of dark colors during the winter months, a bright coat makes for a perfect accessory to brighten up my outfit.
So not many people know, but I used to work as a waitress for probably seven years between two different restaurants. One was a huge sit-down fast casual chain and another was more of a high-end seafood restaurant. Since today can turn out to be a stressful, I thought I would share my tips for Valentine’s Day as a previous waitress. Hopefully, this can alleviate some of the stress for yourself, you date, and your server.

So, if you had the chance to read my previous post, you would know that I tried to hit up three ski resorts this weekend. It was to finish up my snowboarding goal of hitting every Vail Resort on the West Coast. Well, I didn’t even get close. Instead, we decided to stay at Beaver Creek the whole weekend instead. It actually snowed on Saturday so the snow conditions and trail runs were amazing. Thanks to credit card points, we got to stay at the amazing Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. The hotel is located right off the gondola so we wanted to utilize the ski in/ski out as much as we could. I’ll be writing a post about the Park Hyatt later, but for now, lets talk about Valentine’s Day!
