Most of you might probably know by now that I love going to Las Vegas. What’s not to love about endless buffets and penny slot machines?! It’s such an easy trip from Los Angeles that it’s almost unheard of if you’ve never been. I love visiting any time of the year, but summer time is definitely my favorite. So, for this post, I wanted to feature the quintessential Vegas party dress!
For this blog post, I bring you the ultimate outfit of ruffles on ruffles! I’ve been wanting a striped ruffle skirt with an asymmetrical hem for awhile and was so surprised that I found one that I loved on Target.com. Once I had the skirt, there was a certain type of top I had in mind that I wanted to style the skirt with. It had to be white, off-shoulder, and have ruffles too. Luckily, what I pictured in my head this time worked!
Since LA is cooling off for the next couple of weeks, I thought I would break out my over-the-knee boots again. I thought it would also be a good chance to pair it with items that you’ve already seen on my blog as well. Getting many uses out of a piece is absolutely essential for me. If I don’t wear it at least four or five times, I feel like I have failed my wallet in some sort of way. Anyone else feel the same?
Hi Everyone! Just flew back into LA yesterday and I have to say that it’s downright cold here. This is a drastic change coming from Singapore where it’s been hot and humid. Unfortunately, when the weather changes too suddenly, my body can’t seem to adjust fast enough so now I’m sick. But the good news is that it’s actually cold enough for a proper winter faux fur coat!
Sorry I haven’t written for awhile! Flying to Singapore took a lot more out of me than I thought. It’s my 3rd day here and I’m finally feeling pretty adjusted. Before I left, I checked the weather forecast and it said that it would be mostly rain and thunderstorms the whole time we were here, which kind of sucks since it lands right on my birthday. Yesterday, we actually got to see some sun and ran outside to take pictures as fast as we could. Unfortunately, we forgot one little thing… sunscreen! To say the least, both my boyfriend and I got burnt like lobsters. I foresee some aloe vera in our near future.
