Is it just me or Christmas is never a one-day type of deal? I feel like it is always a couple weeks long. There are so many get-togethers and holiday parties that it can last well past the new year. Therefore, today’s blog post is dedicated to a fun holiday look that I wore to a recent girlfriend’s Friendsgiving party. I love how the green velvet midi skirt gives the whole outfit a festive feel without being too much over the top.
With the holidays coming up, I’m totally in the mood to break out all the pretty pieces from my closet. I know this sheer floral midi skirt is something I’ll be wearing a lot of this coming winter. I’ve already worn it out to dinner and to a baby shower so definitely getting my use in.
Happy Hump Day! Today I bring to you another fall outfit that I wore on our second day in Sonoma. I have been really into pleated skirts lately for the fall so you’ll probably be seeing me wear a lot of them on the blog. This burgundy pleated skirt by H&M is probably one of my favorites so far. It was sold out online for awhile and I had to actually go buy it in stores. It just restocked back online with all sizes so make sure you get yours before they run out again.
Yes! The work week is finally almost over. I didn’t win the big Mega Millions jackpot so I guess I still have to make a living somehow. I’ve been in two different lottery pools the past three weeks. One with my boyfriend and one with my office. For people that don’t know, it costs $2 for each ticket and it pulls every Tuesday and Friday. I seriously feel poor after all that, but am so happy that someone finally won! Did any else catch lotto fever?
A great alternative for the LBD is a simple and modern strapless black jumpsuit. The simplicity of the outfit really gives you the opportunity to play with accessories. I styled this outfit to have a more tropical vibe since I’ve been traveling to a lot of islands lately.
