Helllllllooooooooo my readers! I’m so so sorry for the late post. So much has happened in the past two weeks that I’m now finally getting back on track. I’ll explain down more below, but for now, I wanted to share this cozy winter white outfit with you during my recent trip to Aspen. We were lucky the day we shot because it started to snow so it created this really pretty ethereal landscape!

As I mentioned in another post, All Saints is fast becoming one of my favorite brands for the winter time. I’ve already worn this long popcorn cardigan on every snow trip that I’ve done this season. It’s super comfy and is thicker than your usual knit material. I paired it with a fuzzy white turtleneck, petite white jeans, and a white beanie. Of course, to keep my feet warm, my trusty classic UGGs. Winter white is one of my favorite styles during the colder months, but I feel like it’s so hard to put together. Anyone else feel the same way?!

Regarding my late post, some of you may know that it was my birthday last weekend and we decided to celebrate it in South Lake Tahoe. It’s a great area for skiing/snowboarding since there are a lot of different resorts surrounding the lake. When your birthday is in a winter month, it kind of limits you to what you can do right? Luckily, I do love the snow so I invited a few friends up with me from LA and SF.

Well, everything was going fine up until the last day. A storm was coming in and the winds were getting stronger and stronger. We were at the airport early waiting for our flight when we started hearing over the intercom that a Phoenix flight was cancelled, and then an Oakland flight was cancelled, and then finally, our LA flight was cancelled.

We had to stay an extra night in Reno. All flights were done for the night so they booked us on a layover the following day. This meant losing an extra day of work. For anyone that works full time, you know how stressful that could be. We contemplated if we should drive back down to LA a million times. In the end, we decided it wasn’t worth the risk especially with the storm coming through so we kept our flight.

Well, I totally forgot that I have a class on Tuesday nights! After flying from Reno to Las Vegas then Las Vegas to Los Angeles, I had to take an Uber back home (an hour) to pick up my car and drive another 30+ mins to my class. By the time I got to my class, it was 8:00pm. The class starts at 6:15pm and ends at 9:25pm. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop there. My direct supervisor left for the rest of the week for a conference so I spent the rest of the week getting up early and staying late to help my boss out. I have never been so pooped from a vacation. Luckily, I finally got some rest yesterday and now I can concentrate on the blog!
