Comfy sweaters are obviously a main staple in my closet this time of year, but I will say that it gets kind boring and repetitive. This is why this year it’s all about embellished knit sweaters. It makes the sweater so much more festive and fancy. Also, who doesn’t want a little bit more sparkle in their life?
With knit sweaters, I always have to wear a camisole or a long-sleeve underneath. When there’s wind, it blows right through the sweater so it’s good to have an extra layer. To keep with a neutral theme, I paired my embellished sweater with white jeans so it’ll match the pearls. To finish off the look, I decided to wear my trusty classic UGG boots. We are in the mountains after all so got to keep my feet warm. I’ve had these UGGs for over a year now and of course I did not do what I was suppose to do and use stain repellent on them before I wore them out. I figured better later than never so if anyone has any recommendations for a good suede cleaner and stain repellent, I would love to know!
In other news, January was suppose to be a time for me to hit the gym and get back in shape. Well, I can confidently say that I have NOT accomplished this goal. We have this event called Dine LA that’s happening in Los Angeles right now. It runs from January 11th through January 25th. It’s a fun two weeks where a lot of restaurants in LA participate by creating an affordable set menu as a way for people to try out their food.
I’ve already been to three restaurants: Kali, The Little Door, and Ma’am Sir. I thought Kali and the Ma’am Sir were great for the value. Unfortunately, I thought The Little Door was just okay. The ambiance was absolutely amazing and definitely was the best out of all three. But the food wasn’t what I was expecting for the price that we paid. Anyone else that lives in LA have recommendations on other places I should try?
