Miss Selfridge Stripe Linen Dress (0) • Steven by Steve Madden Sandals (6.5) • Natural Cotton String Bag
One of my go-to fabrics for the summer has to be linen. The material is super breathable and is very lightweight. This stripe linen dress from Miss Selfridge was a clear choice to wear on our small road trip up to the North Shore. It is super comfortable and loose-fitting. It’s great as a casual dress or it can be used as a cover-up after a day on the beach.
The beach that we are at is called Laniakea Beach (Turtle Beach). People come all over just to see sea turtles and we sure saw some! They swim super close to the shore and they can get pretty close to you without you even noticing. There are volunteers on the beach watching after these sea turtles to make sure no one touches or gets to close. They are also not afraid to yell at you if you do. Apparently, in the afternoon, they’ll come up onto the sand and beach themselves for a couple hours to sunbathe. We didn’t have enough time to see if they would come up or not, but seeing them in the water was amazing in itself.
OUTFIT DETAILS
Miss Selfridge Stripe Linen Dress (0): This dress hits me a little below the calves, but for some reason I don’t mind. I would says it’s a little longer than midi length on me. I like that the straps tie up onto your shoulders in neat bows. This means that they are also adjustable to fit almost any height. The vertical stripe pattern also gives the illusion of being taller which is what I’m always striving for as a petite.

Natural Cotton String Bag: An absolute perfect bag for the beach. You don’t have to worry about sand accidentally getting trapped like it would in a regular bag. Seen and reviewed here!
