My Current Favorite Jewelry Picks

Hello Readers! I thought for this post, I would do something a little bit different. I wanted to share with you some of my current favorite jewelry picks that I’m loving right now. I’m usually not the type that wears over-the-top jewelry and if anything, I tend to lean more on the ¬†conservative or minimalist side. These brands are ones that I keep buying from over and over again so you know I must like them!

SUGARFIX by BaubleBar

Most of you might have heard me talk about this brand a million times already, but I seriously can’t get enough of it. I’m a big fan of their original brand (BaubleBar), but sometimes their pieces can get a little too expensive, especially if you just want to wear them for fun or just for the season.

I’m so glad that Bauble partnered up with Target to bring a more affordable option out to the market. This means you can have more pairs of earrings for a fraction of the price. All the vibrant colors and beautiful designs make for a great summer statement piece.

Only my closest friends (and obviously now everyone who is reading this blog) knows how much I LOVE Sailor Moon. If you don’t know what Sailor Moon is then maybe you are too young to have watched this anime in the mornings before you went to school. Or, maybe you just don’t like anime at all and that’s totally fine.¬†Either way, it was my all-time favorite cartoon growing up as a child and I would watch it religiously. I even bought all the comics, VHS tapes, DVDs, playing cards, etc. I was obsessed! If I were to ever get a tattoo, I would probably get something that’s related to Sailor Moon!

First of all, I don’t think I’ll ever get a tattoo because I’m afraid of needles. Second, the thought of having something permanently inked on my skin doesn’t really appeal to me. So, I thought the next best thing that I can do is get something personalized so I can wear it all the time. Well, here comes in oNecklace! oNecklace is an online jewelry store that specializes in personalized jewelry. You can pick any word you want, the type of font, the color, the quality, and even the type of chain. I didn’t want to get the words “Sailor Moon” for a necklace because that would be too obvious. So, I opted for something a little more versatile and chose the word “Moonlight” instead. The word also appears in the theme song (“Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight”… anyone???).

I seriously can’t get enough of this necklace. I definitely get questions about it all the time and it makes me super happy. Of course, I would have to go in depth and re-tell the whole story about my love of Sailor Moon, but I don’t mind! The only thing I would have to say is that I wish I got the “rolo” chain instead of the “box” chain*. The reason why is because the role chain twists when it’s on my neck so it gives this weird uneven look when I wear it. I have to straighten it out a couple times a day so if you’re looking into it, I would take this under consideration.[/two_third]

1) Name/Word: Moonlight
2) Chain Length: 16″
3) Chain: Box Chain*
4) Clasp: Lobster

Jennifer Zeuner

This is definitely my favorite jewelry designer for higher end pieces. I have bought two necklaces from here and I wear them on the daily. Her aesthetic is right up my alley. It’s super clean, modern, and minimalist.

I actually found out about her jewelry while I was browsing through Pinterest one day. It was this beautiful gold bar necklace with a little diamond to the side. It fit my style perfectly and when I finally got it, I wore it every day! Now I switch off between this necklace and my “Moonlight” necklace.

The other piece I bought was a year later and it was of course a necklace with three moons on it. Hmmmmm, can you guess why? Unfortunately, they don’t make this necklace anymore, but they still have the bar version. I know this is definitely on the pricier side of the spectrum, but Jennifer Zeuner does have some amazing sales so definitely be on the lookout when they come.

Well, that’s my list of my current favorite jewelry picks. Hope you enjoyed this blog post and if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below!
