Happy Hump Day Everyone! First I have to apologize for the delay in posts. The last week has been super crazy with traveling and starting my new job. More details about that will come soon, but today I wanted to show you one of my favorite dresses for a summer night out! This leaf print kimono dress has all the summer feels, but is made up of a more heavy-weight fabric which makes if feel more luxurious.

I wore it for our dinner date at Counter Reformation at the Parker Palm Springs. If you like Spanish tapas, I highly recommend this place! It’s on the pricier side for tapas, but it was totally worth it. We got the beef carpaccio, caviar+creme fraiche+quail egg, foie gras macaron, jamon iberico, and grilled prawn brochette. They also give you this amazingly warm fresh bread in the beginning. And yes, we totally got a second helping.

Mango Leaf Print Kimono Dress (Sz 2): I like that this dress has a super bold print made of thicker material and has a sexy, but still classy silhouette. The dress is probably too hot for day time activities so I would recommend wearing it after the sun sets.

BP Kitten Sunglasses (Sold out): These kitten sunglasses are literally being seen everywhere and I felt like I had to get my own pair! These type of sunglasses usually are not my style, but this pair was only $14 so I thought, “why not!” They were perfect for our trip down to Palm Springs since they’re so retro looking.

ASOS Hands Down Barely There Heels (Sz 6): Again, these are my go-to pair of nude strappy sandals. Way more comfortable than the Steve Madden Stecy heels. I am looking to buy the Stuart Weitzman version of these though. Does anyone have this pair? Would love to know your thoughts!

A New Day Drop Earrings: So there’s a funny story with these earrings. I wanted to have this specific type of gold drop earrings for this dress and I was so excited to find them on Target.com. Unfortunately, the first pair I got, one of the gold plates was stuck to the other part of the earring. It was literally welded together. So, I returned it and ordered another pair online since they didn’t have it in store. The second pair looked alright until I tried it on only to find the metal part where you insert it into your ear was rusty! So, I returned it and bought it a THIRD time and it finally turned out alright.

I have been noticing lately that Target products that I receive in the mail isn’t in the best condition. Anyone been having the same problem? It’s not going to stop me from buying online, but take my advice and make sure to do a thorough check of your products before you commit to keeping them.
