For this blog post, I bring you the ultimate outfit of ruffles on ruffles! I’ve been wanting a striped ruffle skirt with an asymmetrical hem for awhile and was so surprised that I found one that I loved on Target.com. Once I had the skirt, there was a certain type of top I had in mind that I wanted to style the skirt with. It had to be white, off-shoulder, and have ruffles too. Luckily, what I pictured in my head this time worked!
Also, just a small side note, I seriously feel like Sophia Loren in this outfit! I feel so Italian-esqe with the wavy hair, off-the-shoulder top, and of course ruffles. Seriously wishing I could be sitting in a cafe on the Amalfi Coast drinking wine right now.
GUESS Top (XS): I searched high-and-low for this top. You know when you get an idea in your head and then suddenly you’re on a crazy mission to make it happen? Well, that’s what happened here. I wasn’t going to rest until I found the top that I imagined in my head. Fortunately, I found something that fit me and what I was looking for! The best part was that it was on sale too.
A New Day Midi Striped Ruffle Skirt (XXS): Target has been killing it with their “A New Day” line. I find more and more things from them every week. When I first saw this skirt, I knew I had to have it. Also, the fact that it comes in XXS is music to my ears. I love that the stripes go in all different directions and the asymmetrical hem is always a good trick for petites to make you look taller.
ASOS Nude Heels (6): I can’t stress enough how much I love these nude heels. They are more comfortable than the Steve Madden Stecy heels and they are also more affordable. They can also been seen worn here and reviewed here.
