Happy Tuesday Everyone! I forgot to mention that my previous post was my last post for the Singapore series. I’m still going to do an overall guide of Singapore, but that’ll be a little later. So today, I’m presenting you with a casual, but dressy outfit that you can easily add to your spring wardrobe. The pictures were taken at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge (about 20 minutes north of DTLA). I really wanted to see cherry blossoms so we made a plan to spend the morning up there.
Once you get to know me, you’ll soon find out that I almost own NO graphic tees. I really don’t know how that came about. Maybe it’s because during the day, I have to dress for the office and during the night/weekends, I usually want to dress up. So, there’s never any real good time for me to just wear a T-shirt.
Well, when I saw this T-shirt, I thought it was the cutest thing! I also have been wanting to wear this old ASOS Petite pleated skirt that I got last year since I only got to wear it once before. I pictured both in my head and was so glad it worked. There’s definitely been moments where I’ve styled outfits in my head and when I finally tried it on, I look like a potato sack. I wanted to style the T-shirt like a crop top by making a little knot off to the side since the skirt is a little bit high-waisted. I also like this T-shirt because you can dress it up (like I did here) or dress it down by wearing some jeans or shorts.
One a side note, just came back from Las Vegas and I’m pooped. Vegas is one of those places that I always look forward to since there’s so much to see, do, and EAT. If you don’t already follow me on Instagram, be sure to check it out if you want to see pictures from my trip!
A New Day™ Graphic Tee (XS): I bought two sizes (XS and S) for this one because I wasn’t sure how tight or loose the XS was going to be. I tend to like my T-shirts a little looser so it can hang off the body rather than hug the body. The XS fit perfectly so I returned the S. There was enough material to make my cute little knot. The material is super soft and is pretty thick for a T-shirt. The lettering it also pretty high-quality. The “más amor” lettering is slightly raised up by a bunch of tiny black beads.
ASOS Petite Pleated Skirt (2): They don’t have this skirt in stock anymore, but have suggested some similar pleated skirts above.
ASOS Hang Time Heels (6.5): I paired the outfit with some silver heels mostly because I wanted a little bling. Who doesn’t love a little bit of bling?! If you don’t have silver heels, my next choice would definitely be some strappy nude sandals.
