Lilac & Lavender Spring Trend

Spring is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited! Not that LA had any sort of crazy winter weather, but it’s always nice to see flowers start to bloom and watch the days get longer.  It also means the start of spring fashion. So apparently we’re saying goodbye to millennial pink and we’re now saying hello to beautiful pale purples. Whether it be lavender or lilac, there’s no doubt that light purples are going to be in.

We’ve previously seen designers like Tibi, Victoria Beckham, and Michael Kors highlight this lilac & lavender spring trend in their shows and now their ready-to-wear pieces are in stores just in time for spring. Even stores like Target are rolling out a whole line dedicated to this color. Sometimes it’s really hard to get started on a trend and can be overwhelming. That’s why I’ve complied my current favorite items below to help get you started. I always appreciate it when other bloggers do this as well since it saves me time from scrounging the whole internet. Hopefully this helps you out!

Miss Selfridge Sweater Dress (Sz 0): Super easy piece if you want to get started on your lilac & lavender spring trend. The weather is still in transition so it’ll still be cool enough to wear sweaters. I also have the same sweater in gray and have styled it as a dress here and as a sweater here.

Leggs Stockings: I wanted to wear stockings this time with the sweater dress because first, it was freezing, and second, I wanted a little bit of contrast against the sweater dress. Black leggings would have been too dark for what I was going for. I wanted the outfit to feel light and airy.

Steve Madden Booties (6.5 US): Can’t get over how versatile these boots are. I think it’s a great shoe to have as we transition from winter to spring.

Old Lipsy London Coat Similar Here or Here: I got this gray coat last year and I pretty much only wear it when I go to colder places. I thought this coat would work perfectly since I wanted to keep it the realm of light colors.

YSL Wallet on Chain (Fuchsia): Again, I always want some sort of pop or contrasting color to my outfits! I don’t know why. That’s how my style always seems to go. Whether it be with make-up or accessories.

Also, I wanted to say Happy Pi Day! Who is eating some delicious pie out there?
